Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 16, 2026 • Developer: Coderix (coderix.dev)

Our Zero-Data-Collection Pledge

Fluid MP3 Player is developed by Coderix as an offline audio player featuring real-time fluid simulation visualizers. We strongly believe privacy is a fundamental right. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. Your music files, playlists, and settings remain strictly stored on your physical device.

1 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Account Required: You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email, phone number, or name.
  • No Audio File Uploads: The application never uploads, monitors, or transmits your audio tracks or audio files to any remote servers.
  • No Location Tracking: We do not request or track GPS, network location, or IP location.
  • No Contact or Keystroke Logging: We have zero access to your contacts, messages, keyboard inputs, or photos.

2 Device Permissions & Why We Need Them

In strict accordance with Google Play Developer Policies, Fluid MP3 Player requests only the minimal permissions required to function as an offline audio player:

READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Required to scan your device for locally stored music files, read embedded metadata (title, artist, album, embedded cover art), and populate your music library.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK
Required by Android OS to maintain continuous audio playback when the application is running in the background, minimized, or when your phone screen is turned off.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required on Android 13+ to display the system media notification with playback controls (play, pause, skip, seek) in the notification drawer and lockscreen.
WAKE_LOCK
Prevents the device CPU from suspending audio rendering mid-song while the screen is asleep.
Motion Sensors (Accelerometer)
Used strictly in real-time on your local GPU/CPU to simulate realistic fluid gravity when tilting your phone. Sensor values are processed in volatile memory only and are never logged or stored.

3 Local Data Storage

Any playlists you create, favorite tracks, playback history, equalizer/visualizer themes, or custom folder paths are stored locally on your device using Android SQLite databases and SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is erased automatically if you clear application data or uninstall the app.

4 Third-Party Services & Advertising

Fluid MP3 Player is currently an offline application. Future versions may integrate verified standard SDKs such as Google Play In-App Billing (for premium theme purchases) or Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). In that event:

  • Google may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID) in compliance with Google's Privacy Policy.
  • No audio content, titles, or listening history will ever be shared with any advertising provider.

5 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our application is safe for general audiences of all ages and does not target or knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

6 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or platform requirements. The latest version will always be hosted at this URL (https://coderix.dev/fluid-mp3-player-privacy-policy) with an updated Effective Date.
